Vanessa Fraction is one of the brightest, young stars in comedy today. She has travelled the world doing what she loves; making people laugh. As a standup, her performances have been featured on Nick Jr.’s Nick Mom Night Out, Mike Epps’ Live at Club Nokia, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Comic View, STARZ’ Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment Standup, and more.
As an actress, Vanessa has appeared in the movie Barber Shop 2, in addition to sitcom episodes of The Rickey Smiley Show and Second Generation Wayans. After an appearance on The MoʼNique Show her performance was so well received that she landed a job as a staff writer for the showʼs second season, offering an enlivening, female perspective to the show’s Write Squad. Most recently, Vanessa served as comedy writer for BET’s flagship show 106 & Park.
Vanessa was a featured comedienne at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festivals in Montreal and Chicago, and has been a finalist for NBC’s Standup for Diversity Showcase. Vanessa’s been included in several tours throughout Europe and Asia to proudly entertain our military service men and women.
